Pimpri: Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Rajesh Patil has given instructions to organize “Karsamwad” on the lines of Jansamwad Sabha to solve the various questions, problems and doubts of the taxpayers in Pimpri-Chinchwad city. Accordingly, this tax dialogue will be held online at 11 am on the fourth Saturday of the month under the guidance of Assistant Commissioner Nilesh Deshmukh, Head of Taxation and Tax Collection Department. This activity will be started on 23rd of this month. The cooperation of Smart Sarathi app team is being taken for this communication.

5 lakh 77 thousand incomes are registered in Pimpri-Chinchwad city. All these incomes are collected through the Taxation and Tax Collection Department of the Municipal Corporation. Tax payment facility has been provided at 16 divisional offices along with online facility for property holders to pay tax. Commissioner Rajesh Patil is insisting on how to provide maximum services and facilities to the taxpayers sitting at home and Assistant Commissioner Deshmukh, head of tax collection department, is making special efforts in this regard. In line with the same, the Karsamvad initiative will now be implemented.

The tax collection department will try to solve the various problems of the taxpayers, the difficulties they face regarding property tax, doubts in their mind, how the tax has been imposed, wrong taxation, transfer of property, etc. through tax communication. This tax dialogue will be held online on the fourth Saturday of every month at 11 am through Facebook, Twitter, YouTube. Taxpayers can ask their questions at this time. Assistant Commissioner of Tax Collection Department Deshmukh along with all Divisional Officers, Administrative Officers are going to solve these questions “on the spot”.

Citizens who are not able to participate in the tax dialogue online, those citizens who have any questions regarding taxation should attend the office of Taxation and Tax Collection Department on the ground floor of the Municipal Corporation on the fourth Saturday of the month at 11 am. On this occasion Assistant Commissioner Nilesh Deshmukh, all Divisional Officers, Administration Officers will be present. Deshmukh said that it will help to solve the problems of the citizens on the spot.
