‘Mega Celebration’ planned on MLA Mahesh Landge’s birthday
A big bang with more than 100 events in and around Bhosari

Birthday of Mahesh Landge, MLA of Bhosari Assembly Constituency is going to be a big bang event with more than 100 social activities and cultural programs being organized on the occasion. Interestingly, it seems to have been organized village wise in the vicinity of Bhosari. Landge’s supporters and well-wishers seem to be all set to make his birthday a ‘grand celebration’ this year.
MLA Mahesh Landge is a leader known to Maharashtra for his style of making any event or social activity grand and with great zeal. MLA Landge is in the limelight across Maharashtra for his big and crowd fetching initiatives Maharashtra’s largest ‘Indrayani Thadi’ fair, India’s largest bullock cart race and ‘River Cyclothon-2023’ which is heading towards the India Book of World Records.
Every year on 27th November Landge’s supporters and friends celebrte his birthday with a well-wishing ceremony. Lastly in 2021, a whole month from 1st November to 3rd December various programs were arranged for this occasion. Last year, MLA Landge’s mother’s sad demise stopped his supporters from celebrating his birthday. Earlier, due to Covid Pandemic situation and natural calamities like flood on western Maharashtra and Nisarga cyclone in Konkan region these celebrations were called off. Now this year, MLA Landge’s supporters and various organizations associated to him are making it sure that this birthday celebration will be grand and extraordinary.

Social commitment and respect for the leader…
As a part of this celebration, health related activities including social, educational, sports and cultural events will be organized throughout the month. This will be a bang after Diwali, from 18 November to December 9. These 20 days will be over packed with a number of programmes. Famous artists from all over Maharashtra are invited on this occasion. Bullock cart races such as Mahan Bharatkesari, Maharashtra Kesari will be held in Chakan-Rajgurunagar area. Along with this, Maharashtra’s largest horse and native cattle exhibition will also be held in Moshi. These activities also include ‘River Cyclothon-2023’ to spread the message of environment and Indrayani river conservation which is heading towards the India Book of World Records, Joy Street-2023, Cricket Tournament for Society dwellers, ‘Khel Rangala Paithanicha’ for Women, Free Child Fair, Bhimashankar-Ozar-Lenyadri Devdarshan, various competitions for children, Various programs like comedy fair etc. These will be held in Nigdi, Talwade, Chikhli, Jadhavwadi, Moshi, Dudulgaon, Charholi, Dighi, Bhosari, Nehrunagar along with various programs in the rural areas of the district. It is the social commitment and respect for the leader that has led to such a massive birthday ‘celebration’.
