Pimpri: Mahesh Landge, the candidate from the Mahayuti alliance in the Bhivandi Assembly constituency, has set aside political differences to focus on development work. Former mayor and leader of the Nationalist Congress Party’s Ajit Pawar faction, Mangala Kadam, stated this while addressing the media, highlighting how Landge has resolved numerous pending issues and completed projects initiated during the Nationalist regime.
Kadam mentioned, “The Bhosari Assembly constituency has shifted to the BJP in the Mahayuti alliance. As a friendly party, we are collaborating with Mahayuti. MLA Mahesh Landge has prioritized the election work above all else. In the previous elections, Mahayuti was not present. However, both Landge and Kartik Landge have worked together, putting aside party affiliations.”
She pointed out various projects completed under Landge’s supervision, including community halls in Krishna Nagar and the wrestling training center in Bhivandi, which was initiated during the Nationalist tenure but completed by Landge.
Landge has also successfully launched the West to Energy project, the Sant Peeth initiative, and resolved buffer zone issues. He was instrumental in establishing an international standard wrestling training center and has presented the concept for a Constitution Building, which is set to come to fruition. Additionally, he addressed issues related to compensation for farmers affected by authorities and tax waivers.
Kadam stated that Landge has resolved road issues in parts of More Wasti facing difficulties. She praised Landge for his work as a municipal councilor and his independent initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic, where he extended help to many. “Ultimately, it’s the work that matters, and the credit for these achievements often goes to the local representatives. We always appreciate MLA Mahesh Landge for standing by us,” Kadam said.
Kadam expressed her admiration for the systems established by Mahesh Landge to facilitate various civic services and infrastructure. “While mistakes can happen, we cannot overlook the good work he has done,” she added. She firmly believes that Mahesh Landge will win with a record margin based on his strong performance in development.
