Dighi Voters extended strong support to Maheshdada
Connectivity in Dighi improved Thanks to MLA Maheshdada! Senior Leader Dattatray Gaikwad Expresses Confidence
Pimpri : Bhosari Assembly constituency MLA Maheshdada Landge, has gained firm support from Dighi residents due to his efforts in waiving the penalty tax on unauthorized constructions and enhancing connectivity between Dighi, Pune, and Pimpri-Chinchwad.
Senior social worker Dattatray Gaikwad expressed confidence that Dighi voters will back Maheshdada once again, sending him to represent them in the assembly again.
Dattatray Gaikwad, a prominent figure in Dighi, has served in various roles, including Sarpanch, Zilla Parishad member, PCMC Corporator, and city Shiv Sena chief. Having started his social and political journey in 1975, he holds significant influence in the Dighi area and has worked with Maheshdada Landge since 2009.
“The waiver of nearly Rs 40 crore in penalty tax for Dighi residents has been a major relief. This tax, compounded at high interest, had become burdensome for the public, making it a deeply personal concern. Maheshdada’s actions to waive it have truly won over Dighi’s residents. There’s no doubt they’ll ensure his victory in this Assembly election,” Gaikwad said.
Since many areas in Dighi are allocated for CME and military use, development space is limited. However, Maheshdada Landge has made efforts to enhance infrastructure wherever possible. The Alandi-Pune Palkhi route through Dighi was completed thanks to his dedication. In the upcoming assembly election, Dighi voters will stand firmly with MLA Maheshdada Landge, ensuring him a strong mandate from the Dighi area,” stated Dattatray Gaikwad, Senior Leader, Dighi.
