Will try to promote nationalism and unity through ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign: Chief Minister Eknath Shinde

Mumbai: Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign implemented by the Central Government will promote nationalism and unity among everyone in Maharashtra. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that efforts will be made to take India and Maharashtra forward in the future while remembering those who gave freedom to India.

A meeting was held with the Central Cultural Department regarding Har Ghar Tricolor program under Azadi Ka Amritmahotsav through television system. The meeting was attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah along with Lieutenant Governors of Union Territories, Chief Ministers of all states, Union Culture Minister Kishan Reddy.

In today’s meeting, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Bagel, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Nagaland Chief Minister Naifiu Reo, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma presented their suggestions on this occasion.

Chief Secretary Manu Kumar Srivastava, Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Ashish Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary of Rural Development Department Rajesh Kumar, Secretary of Cultural Affairs Department Saurabh Vijay were present for this meeting.

In order to make Har Ghar Tricolor Abhiyan a success, large scale public participation will be taken in Maharashtra. Under this campaign, work will be done to awaken the love of nation among us and farmers, women, school children, voluntary organizations and various cooperative organizations of the state will be involved in this. Programs will be undertaken through public participation at the state level, district level, taluka level and ward or village level. It is the duty of each of us to remember everyone who gave freedom to India and the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, which is implemented to make today’s generation understand their greatness, their work and thoughts, will be largely successful in Maharashtra.
