Bhosari | MLA Maheshdada Landge has reached every household over the past ten years through his work. Based on the development work he has done, he will not only win as an MLA for the third time but will also likely become a minister in the Maha-Yuti government, asserted Prof. Uttam Kendale, former chairman of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s Sports Committee, while speaking to the media.
MLA Landge has undertaken numerous development projects. He has resolved various issues in Yamnunagar Ward No. 13, which has benefited thousands of citizens. By resolving the issue of the Shasti tax, around 2,500 properties will benefit. He also resolved the issue of converting houses under the development authority into freehold properties, which will benefit a large number of people, especially in Sector No. 21 and 22. The foundation stone for the Bhakti Shakti flyover in Nigdi was laid during the BJP’s tenure and has now been completed. MLA Maheshdada Lande also secured funding for the construction of an underground road connecting the school and market in Nigdi Gaothan, completing the work. Additionally, he provided funds for urban development projects in the areas between Tilak Chowk, Durga Nagar Chowk, and Triveni Nagar Chowk.
During BJP’s tenure in Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, under the leadership of Standing Committee Chairman Santosh Londhe and Nitin Lande, MLA Maheshdada Landge allocated ₹4.5 crore for the Nigdi crematorium. This funding helped in constructing boundary walls and providing electric and gas cremation facilities, as mentioned by Kendale.
Further, Maheshdada Landge took the initiative to set up the city’s second Lighthouse project in Yamnunagar. This project has provided employment to 700 youth in just 18 months. He also contributed significantly from his MLA funds for the renovation and beautification of community temples and Buddha Viharas in Sector 22. Over 25 societies in Yamnunagar have received paving blocks, enhancing the area’s infrastructure.
Kendale emphasized that due to MLA Landge’s extensive work, reaching every household through his development efforts, he is sure to win with a record margin in the upcoming election and will be appointed as a minister in the Maha-Yuti government.
