‘The one I left you for …’, Suicide of a young woman in love marriage

A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Vishnunagar area of the city. The husband did not behave like before, the parents also broke up, so the young woman, who was left alone, ended her life, she wrote in her suicide note. Pooja Akash Khedkar (21, resident of Vishnunagar) is the name of the deceased girl.
Pooja wrote in a suicide note before committing suicide, ‘I am alone. I left the family for him. But even his family did not accept me. Mom and Dad, I can’t forget you. Expectations remained unfulfilled even for those for whom I left. I can’t cry anymore. I hurt you so much. I’m sorry. Parents should be informed of the death, but they will not come. Due to this, the sky itself should give fire, ‘said Pooja in his suicide note.
- The love marriage took place three years ago.
Pooja had fled with Akash at the age of 17. When police found her, she refused to go with her parents. However, as she was a minor, Pooja was kept in a correctional facility for one year by order of the Juvenile Justice Board. After that, at the age of 18, Akash and Pooja got married in 2019. However, since then, the parents had severed ties with Pooja. It is noteworthy that the police informed her parents living in Jafrabad taluka about Pooja’s death, but Pooja’s parents turned their backs on her body.
