Shiv Sainiks attack in Mavla after Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s resignation; Burning on old Pune-Mumbai highway

Maval: Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray resigned as Chief Minister yesterday due to the role of Shiv Sena rebel MLAs. Uddhav Thackeray has had to resign due to split in his party. Thackeray’s resignation has brought down the Mahavikas Aghadi government. After that Shiv Sainiks have become aggressive.

As a protest against the rebel MLAs, Maval Shiv Sena blocked the old Pune-Mumbai highway by burning tires at 6 am. On behalf of Shiv Sena Maval, Shiv Sainiks staged agitation at Somatane Fata by burning tires and blocking the road. For some time after that, there were long queues of vehicles on the highway.
