Now the second phase of cabinet expansion of Shinde cabinet is likely to happen on October 5. Many aspirants of the Shinde group did not get a chance in the first extension. So it will be known soon whether they will get another chance. Mumbai: Information has been received from reliable sources that the second phase of expansion of the Shinde government’s cabinet in the state will happen soon. Cabinet expansion is expected soon to fill the existing vacancies in the Cabinet of the Government of Maharashtra. Eknath Shinde, who was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra on 30 June, expanded his cabinet for the first time on 9 August. Now the second phase expansion in the cabinet is likely to happen at the time of Dussehra.

Cabinet expansion likely on October 5
Maharashtra government has inducted 18 new ministers in its cabinet. In it, 9 members each from the rebel Shiv Sena faction and 9 MLAs from the Bharatiya Janata Party have been appointed, after which the number of ministers in the Maharashtra Cabinet has been increased by two to 20. Now the second phase of cabinet expansion of Shinde cabinet is likely to happen on October 5. Many aspirants of the Shinde group did not get a chance in the first extension. So it will be known soon whether they will get another chance.

The new MLAs may get an opportunity to serve the common man and the cabinet is expected to expand soon. A month later, 18 MLAs took oath as ministers, including 9 from the BJP and 9 from the Eknath Shinde group. Now soon the cabinet will be expanded and there is a possibility that the interested MLAs will have a lottery for ministerial posts.

There is no Mumbai and Marathi face in the cabinet expansion
Sanjay Rathore and Sudhir Mungantiwar (Vidarbha) who have been given a chance in the Cabinet; Gulabrao Patil, Dada Bhuse, Girish Mahajan and Vijayakumar Gavit (North Maharashtra); Abdul Sattar, Sandipan Bhumre, Atul Save and Tanaji Sawant (Marathwada); Chandrakant Patil, Shambhuraj Desai, Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil and Suresh Khade (West Maharashtra); Uday Samant and Deepak Kesarkar (Kokan), while Ravindra Chavan (Dombivali) have been included. Only BJP MLA Mangalprabhat Lodha from Mumbai is in the cabinet.
