Pimpri: Krantisurya Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Education Foundation honored Tamanna Sheikh of Thergaon for her election as Deputy Tehsildar. In 2021-22, Tamanna Sheikh achieved excellent results in competitive examinations. After that she was elected as Deputy Tehsildar. Therefore, the founder of the organization Arun Chabukaswar, social activists Irfan Shaikh, Iqbal Shaikh were honored with shawls, coconuts and a bouquet of flowers.
The condition of Tamanna Sheikh’s house is bad. The mother helps the family by sewing. The father works for Force Motors. Tamanna, a member of the Sheikh family living in Anandvan Society in Thergaon, passed the Maharashtra Public Service Commission examination without taking any class. In the third attempt, the girls came 8th in the state and 106th in the general category and was selected as the Deputy Tehsildar.
There is a lack of awareness about education in the Muslim community. Girls are deprived of education. So Muslim women are sensitive. We have to get out of the veil of this caste and encourage the next generation for education and create a different ideal for the new generation. ” Such a statement was made by the founder of the organization Arun Chabukaswar.
