Mumbai: BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis has made a surprise announcement. Fadnavis has said that Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde will be the new Chief Minister of the state. Today, under the leadership of Shiv Sena’s Legislative Group Shinde, we have come with BJP and 16 independent-small MLAs. Something else is coming along.
The BJP has made this decision, we are not behind the power, it is a battle of principles, it is a battle of ideas, the BJP has decided that it will support Shinde and Eknath Shinde will be the Chief Minister. Eknath Shinde will be sworn in alone at 7.30 am today, informed Fadnavis.
