Corrupt police became digital; Bribe amount accepted on sand phone from sand mafia

Nanded: It has been revealed that a police officer of Nanded rural police station, accepting a bribe for not taking action against a sand tipper, accepted some amount of bribe through phone pay. The employee, identified as Shivaji Patil, was arrested by the Bribery Prevention Department.

According to the information received, Shivaji Patil had demanded a total installment of Rs 21,000 for not taking action against the three tippers. Out of this, Patil accepted Rs 7,000 on his own phone pay number. Unwilling to pay the installment, the complainant rushed to the Bribery Prevention Department.
