Nanded: It has been revealed that a police officer of Nanded rural police station, accepting a bribe for not taking action against a sand tipper, accepted some amount of bribe through phone pay. The employee, identified as Shivaji Patil, was arrested by the Bribery Prevention Department.
According to the information received, Shivaji Patil had demanded a total installment of Rs 21,000 for not taking action against the three tippers. Out of this, Patil accepted Rs 7,000 on his own phone pay number. Unwilling to pay the installment, the complainant rushed to the Bribery Prevention Department. After that, the department set a trap and while accepting a bribe of Rs.
While taking care of Shivaji Patil, he got a sum of Rs. The police personnel who came to collect the bribe are being surprised to receive Rs 2.5 lakh. It is being speculated that Shivaji Patil may not be taking all the installments for himself.
