The National Disaster Management Force (NDRF) has deployed a total of 50 teams in the affected areas to deal with the cyclone easily. The meteorological department has warned of torrential rains and floods in many parts of the country. The cyclone is expected to reach the Kakinad-Visakhapatnam coast in the Bay of Bengal by mid-May 11, the meteorological department said.
