Kuldeep Sanger sentenced to 10 years for murdering father of Unnao rape victim

A court has today sentenced seven people, including former BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar to death in the Unnao Rape case. It also included two police officers.

Seven convicts, including Kuldip Singh Sanger, have been sentenced to 10 years imprisonment for killing the father of a Unnao rape victim. Thirty thousand Delhi court has also imposed a fine of Rs 10 lakh. The court also said that the penalty amount will be paid to the victim. Two police officers from Uttar Pradesh have also been sentenced in the case. One was the SHO of Machi Police Station at that time, and the other was Deputy Inspector of Machi Police Station at that time.

Former BJP MLA Kuldeep Sanger, sub-inspector Kamta Prasad of the then Machi Thana, SHO Asho Singh Bhadoria of the then Machi Thane, Vinay Sharma, Birendra Singh alias Bouwa Singh, Shashi Pratap Singh alias Suman Singh, Jaideep Singh alias Atul Singh were sentenced to 10 years each.

IPC Sections 304 (murder), 120b (conspiracy), 166 (public servants who do not perform their duty), 167 (intentionally harming someone), 193 (submission of false evidence), 201 (concealment of evidence by crime), 203 (false) Informing), 211 (falsely impersonating another for the purpose of harming), 218 (falsifying false evidence through public service), 323 (punishing for intentionally injuring someone). Former MLA Kuldeep Singh Sanger has been sentenced to life imprisonment by a 30,000 court for rape of a minor girl.

The rape by a ruling MLA from Uttar Pradesh had created a huge controversy. Unnao was raped in June 2018 by a woman. The victim was accused by Kuldeep Singh Sanger of the rape. The arrest was avoided even when the police had all the evidence in this case. Sanger was last arrested by the Allahabad High Court.
