CET Exam | Five Exam Dates Changed by CET Cell
New Schedule Announced; Students Relieved
Five Exam Dates Changed by CET Cell
Mumbai: Following requests from students and parents, as well as the clash with the Central Board’s 12th-grade exams, the CET Cell has revised the dates for five entrance exams. These changes affect two courses under the Department of Technical Education and three under the Higher Education Department.
The 12th-grade CBSE exams, scheduled from April 1 to 4, will include History, Language subjects, Home Science, and Psychology on consecutive days. As a result, since Psychology is scheduled for April 4, there were demands from students and parents to adjust the CET exam dates that coincided with this period. In response, the CET Cell has rescheduled the Five Year Law entrance exam, which was originally planned for April 4, to April 28.
Additionally, two CET exams for B.Ed and M.P.Ed, initially set for March 16, will now take place on March 19. The field trials for the M.P.Ed exam, which were scheduled from March 17 to 18, have been shifted to March 20 and 21. Furthermore, the MBA/MMS CET, which was originally planned between March 17 to 19, has now been rescheduled to April 1 to 3.
For the BBA/BCA/BBM CET exam, which was previously set for April 1 to 3, the new dates will be April 29, 30, and May 2.
To help students prepare, the CET Cell had already released a tentative schedule in November for entrance exams for 19 courses, and the registration for these exams is already open. The aim is to allow students ample time to plan and prepare for their exams amidst these schedule changes.
