CA exam: Laborer’s son overcomes adversity and succeeds in CA exam
Pimpri Chinchwad :Siddharth Gorakh Gawane, a worker’s son from Akkurdi Vitthalwadi, has triumphed over adversity to succeed in the Chartered Accountant (CA) exam. Siddharth, a resident of Vitthalwadi, hails from a middle-class family. His parents, Nanda and Bhimaji Gawane, work hard to support the family—Nanda engages in tutoring, tailoring, and household chores, while Bhimaji repairs and sells computers and also works on their farm. Two years ago, Siddharth’s sister, Bhavna Gawane, also cleared the CA exam.
Siddharth completed his primary education at the Pune Zilla Shikshan Mandal School, followed by his higher secondary education at St. Ursula’s College and B.Com from Prof. Ramkrishna More College. Afterward, he pursued his CA preparation. At just 23 years old, Siddharth has become a CA.
Siddharth credits his sister Bhavna for inspiring him to become a CA. He said, “I studied 12-14 hours daily and never attended any coaching classes. This dedication led me to success.”
We are from a normal family. It is an unfavorable situation. Very happy our son passed CA. The Lord rewarded him for his honest hard work and good deeds. – Bhimaji Gavane (Father)
