Traffic Changes for the Somvati Yatra of Shri Khandoba Dev on 30th December

Pune | In connection with the Somvati Yatra of Shri Khandoba Dev at Jejuri in Purandar Taluka on 30th December, to prevent traffic congestion and ensure law and order, traffic changes have been ordered by Santosh Patil, the District Collector and District Magistrate.
To avoid traffic jams, from 5 AM to midnight on 30th December, heavy and other vehicles coming for the Somvati Amavasya Yatra will be diverted to alternative routes, excluding light vehicles.
Traffic Changes in Jejuri Police Station and Pune Rural Area: Vehicles coming from Satara, Phaltan, Lonand, and Baramati to Pune via Jejuri-Saswad will be completely diverted. These vehicles will be rerouted through Neera-Morgav-Supa to Kedgaon Chowk and then on to the Solapur Highway towards Pune. Traffic coming from Pune towards Baramati will be diverted via Belasar-Kothale-Nazare-Supe-Morgav Road to Baramati or Phaltan.
Traffic Changes in Supa Police Station and Pune Rural Area: Vehicles coming from Baramati and Neera towards Pune via Jejuri will be diverted to Moragav-Supa-Kedgaon Chowk and then to the Solapur Highway towards Pune.
Traffic Changes in Saswad Police Station and Pune Rural Area: Vehicles coming from Pune towards Jejuri, going to Phaltan or Satara, will be completely diverted. These vehicles will be rerouted through Saswad-Narayanpur-Kapurhol towards Satara-Phaltan or via Saswad-Veer Fata-Parinche-Veer-Wathar to Lonand.
The restrictions on traffic will be relaxed for light vehicles coming for the “Shri Khandoba Dev Somvati Yatra” on 30th December. Citizens are requested to cooperate by taking note of the changes in traffic.
