Enthusiastic Response at the Mantag Community Gathering
Pimpri : In a significant move to honor Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, MLA Mahesh Landge has taken the initiative to construct the largest Constitution building in India. This project is seen as a major tribute to the legendary figure. During his tenure as the chairman of the Municipal Corporation’s Standing Committee, Landge was instrumental in erecting a statue of the renowned litterateur Annabhau Sathe in Nigdi. He also advocated for substantial grants from the Municipal Corporation for the annual Annabhau Sathe Jayanti festival. These efforts have solidified Landge’s strong commitment to the backward classes, as expressed by Amit Gorakhe, a member of the Legislative Council.
A meeting of key activists from the Matang and other backward communities was held in the Bhosari constituency to bolster the support for the official candidate of the Mahayuti alliance, MLA Mahesh Landge. More than 400 prominent activists from the backward community participated in this gathering.
Senior leaders of the Matang community, including Bhau Saheb Adhagal, Sandipan Zombade, Bapu Gholap, Dr. Dhananjay Bhise, Nitin Gholap, former corporator Anuradha Gorakhe, and Kirti Jadhav, were present at the event.

Mahayuti’s Commitment to the Matang Community
Recently, through the Mahayuti alliance, grants for housing construction have been increased from one and a half lakh to two and a half lakh for the Matang and backward classes.
