Cheetahs have entered India after 70 years. 8 cheetahs have entered India from Namibia and they arrived in India by special plane. These eight cheetahs will be housed in the region’s Kuno National Park. Cheetahs traveled 8 thousand kilometers from Namibia and entered India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the cheetahs in the National Park around 11 am. Panty has two male and one female cheetah.

Eight cheetahs have been brought to India today from Namibia. There are five males and three females. The cheetahs arrived in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh on a special Boeing 747-400 flight from Namibia. These cheetahs will be kept in quarantine for one month. Kuno National Park has special facilities for cheetahs.

Special Residence –
Kuno National Park is a protected area spread over 748 square kilometers. A 12 km long fence has been constructed for the cheetahs in this park. The cheetahs will initially be housed in this habitat.

Cheetahs under 24-hour surveillance –
Cheetahs will be monitored 24 hours a day. At this time the veterinary doctor will take care of their health. Whether the cheetah is eating normal food or not. Beat guards will monitor his routine. There is a patrol camp on 8-10 square kilometers to protect against poachers. in which the guards and their assistants live. Apart from this, the jawans of X Army have also been taken, said JS Chauhan, an officer of the forest department.
