Gayatri English School celebrates Annual sports day in fervor
Pimpri : Sachin Tendulkar, a simple boy from an ordinary family who barely had interest in studies becomes India’s greatest cricketer. He is honored with the Bharat Ratna Award for his outstanding achievements in sports. Not everyone becomes this successful in life. However, if we cultivate interest in any sport, we develop sporting spirit and this way students will gain more self-confidence. This motivates to succeed in life. Jyoti Parihar, Assistant Deputy Director of Education expressed this valuable thought and teachers and parents should keep certainly this in mind.
Swami Vivekananda Shikshan Prasarak Mandal (SVSPM) celebrated annual Sports Day at Gayatri English Medium School, Bhosari. Jyoti Parihar lighted ‘kreeda jyot’ i.e. a flame dedicated to sports and gave a green signal to sports competitions.

Under 19 Pro Kabaddi League gold medalist Sunil Landge, managing director Kavita Bhongale along with the teaching and non-teaching staff of sports department were present on this occasion.
Gayatri School has organized the competitions at Rajarshi Sri Shahu Maharaj Kridangan in Shahunagar. The contestants have been grouped according to class, and the winners will be given a certificate and a medal.
Annual Sports Day is organized every year in all branches of Swami Vivekananda Shikshan Prasarak Mandal. Students should be motivated to prove their skills in sports. Students also spontaneously participate in all competitions held to serve this purpose. A platform should be given to the talent of students and children from ordinary families should get an opportunity to play at district, state and national level. The school management strives for this aim.
