Ahmedabad: The accident took place after a speeding car hit an auto rickshaw and a biker. The accident was so horrific that a total of six people including the rickshaw passengers and the biker have died. The police have filed a hit and run case against the MLA’s son-in-law. According to the police, 4 people were traveling in the rickshaw and two people were on a bike. This time, four people died on the spot, while two others died while being taken to the hospital. All the four people in the auto belong to the same family and there were two daughters along with the mother. She was returning home after tying Rakhi to her brother.
Police have said that the name of the accused is Ketan Padhiar and he is the son-in-law of Congress MLA Poonam Parmar. The accused has been arrested under Indian Penal Code 304. In this incident, six people have died on the spot. So, the driver of the accused is undergoing treatment in the hospital. Police officer Abhishek Gupta has informed that the police is conducting further investigation in this matter.
