Alternate Route for Heavy Vehicles on Saswad to Kapurhol Road During Shri Datt Jayanti Festival

Pimpari Chinchwad : A procession will be held at Shri Kshetra Narayanpur in Purandar Taluka to celebrate the birth and Datt Jayanti festival. Therefore, District Collector and District Magistrate Dr. Suhas Dive has issued an order to divert heavy vehicles on the Saswad to Kapurhol road to an alternate route from 11:00 PM on December 13th to 6:00 PM on December 15th.
Heavy vehicles going towards the Bangalore highway from Saswad will take the alternate route through Pare, Veer, and Sarola. Similarly, vehicles will take the Saswad-Diveghat route to reach Katraj Chowk. Heavy vehicles traveling from Kapurhol to Saswad will be diverted via Kapurhol, Shindewadi, and Katraj Chowk towards Saswad. Light vehicles like cars and jeeps will continue to ply on the regular Saswad to Kapurhol route.
The Shri Datt Sevakari Mandal will celebrate the Datt Jayanti festival at Shri Kshetra Narayanpur from December 13 to 15, 2024. Devotees from Maharashtra as well as Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Rajasthan visit for the event. Additionally, devotees also visit the Balaji temple in Ketkawale village nearby. Both these religious sites are on the Saswad-Kapurhol route, and to avoid any disruption in traffic and law and order during the festival, the heavy vehicles will be diverted as per the order.
