PMRDA takes action against unauthorized stalls to prevent traffic congestion in Navale Bridge area
Considering the traffic situation, PMRDA officials and staff have appealed to the concerned parties and others not to undertake unauthorized construction.

Pimpri Chinchwad | To address the traffic congestion problem in the Navale Bridge area of Pune, the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) carried out an operation starting from 7 AM on Monday (23rd December). As part of the operation, 25 unauthorized sheet stalls were removed. PMRDA officials and staff urged that no one, including the concerned parties, should undertake unauthorized construction, keeping in mind the traffic flow.
PMRDA’s unauthorized construction demolition department has been taking action against illegal constructions in recent days, and the concerned structures are being removed. To prevent the continuous traffic congestion in the Navale Bridge area, the PMRDA team, under the guidance of Pune Municipal Commissioner Dr. Yogesh Mhase, Police Superintendent and Vigilance Officer Amol Tambe, Assistant Commissioner Dr. Deepti Suryavanshi-Patil, Sub-Divisional Officer Pramod Kudale, Tehsildar Sachin Mhaske, Ravindra Ranjane, Police Inspector Maheshkumar Sartape, Junior Engineer Vishnu Awad, Ganesh Jadhav, Abhinav Londhe, along with police and fire department staff, removed 25 unauthorized sheet stalls constructed by Dilip Dada Navale, Vaishali Dangad, Sarang Navale, Atul Chakanakar, Vikas Nana Dangad, and others.
PMRDA is currently surveying unauthorized hoardings and constructions within its jurisdiction, and demolition actions are being taken. Property owners are urged to get proper permissions before undertaking construction and to immediately stop any ongoing unauthorized construction. Dr. Yogesh Mhase, the Municipal Commissioner of PMRDA, expressed confidence that this action in the Navale Bridge area will help resolve the traffic congestion issue.
