Pune: Everyone in the state is currently waiting for the monsoon. But the monsoon has weakened in the Arabian Sea. As a result, progress in some parts of India has now been delayed by almost six days, a senior meteorological official told the Times of India on Monday. Due to weak monsoon, the country is likely to receive 38% less rainfall for the season, according to IMD.
According to the meteorological department, the presence of anti-cyclones in central India is also not a good sign for the progress of the monsoon. As a result, the monsoon does not remain normal. Only a few rains of the country are changing. Because, the flow in the Arabian Sea is very weak. As the monsoon lingers in the Arabian Sea, there is still no sign of rain in the state. Many districts received pre-monsoon rains. But even that did not go as planned.

It will rain with thunder in sparse places in South Konkan from Wednesday. It is expected that the wind speed will also increase during this time. Nashik, Ahmednagar, Pune, Kolhapur, Satara, Sangli, Solapur, Parbhani, Beed, Hingoli and Nanded are likely to receive thundershowers till Thursday. Thunderstorms are expected in Aurangabad and Jalna on Wednesday and Thursday.
Rainfall is also expected to ease on Friday. In Vidarbha, heat wave is expected on Tuesday and Wednesday at Wardha, Chandrapur, Gondia and on Thursday at Chandrapur. Gondia recorded a high of 45.8 degrees Celsius on Monday. The maximum temperature at Brahmapuri was recorded at 45.2 degrees Celsius while at Nagpur it was 45.1 degrees Celsius.
