Mumbai: The party meeting was held in Mumbai under the chairmanship of NCP President Sharad Pawar. The NCP leaders have been instructed to give the remaining 11 votes to Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Pawar for the Rajya Sabha elections and to discuss the alliance with the Congress and Shiv Sena in the 14 municipal elections. Discuss with Shiv Sena and Congress leaders if there is any problem regarding the alliance, such instructions have been given by Sharad Pawar.

Ajit Pawar had said in the morning that he would give more votes of NCP to Shiv Sena. Sharad Pawar had told the Shiv Sena leaders that neither the Shiv Sena nor the NCP has the vote to elect a full-fledged Shiv Sena candidate. In the Rajya Sabha elections held two years ago, Sharad Pawar and Faujia Khan had won unopposed.
NCP’s Housing Minister Jitendra Awhad informed that Sharad Pawar had instructed NCP ministers to visit the state. In Bihar, all parties came together and approved the proposal for a caste-wise census. Nitish Kumar took the lead. In Maharashtra, there was a discussion that NCP should take initiative in this regard, said Jitendra Awhad. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar had said in section 340 that reservation should be given to other backward classes. Jitendra Awhad said that it was necessary to conduct a caste-wise census due to the difficulties encountered in reservation.
