Pratibha Junior College's Sports Festival 2024 celebrated with enthusiasm
Pimpri-Chinchwad: The sports festival 2024 was held with great enthusiasm at the late Sanjay Kale Sports Complex ground in Pradhikaran, with the participation of 1500 students from Pratibha Junior College, managed by Kamla Education Society, located in Chinchwad. A large number of male and female students from the college participated in various sports competitions, including 100-meter sprints, shot put, seat-and-reach, push-ups, and more, delivering outstanding performances.
Before the competitions, Dr. Deepak Shah, the founder secretary of Kamla Education Society, addressed a meeting with the junior college’s sports teachers and professors. He stated that sports help in the physical and mental development of students. He urged them to participate more actively in their favorite sports alongside academics to stay fit and healthy.

During the inauguration of the sports festival, Dr. Vanita Kurhade, the Vice-Principal of the Junior College, mentioned in her introductory speech that the sports festival was organized due to the encouragement and guidance provided by the institution’s secretary, Dr. Deepak Shah. She wished the players who participated in various competitions. The sports event was planned by the Head of the Sports Department, Prof. Shabana Sheikh, and sports teacher Dr. Abhay Poddar.
The coordinator of the college, Dr. Sunita Patnaik, along with Prof. Jasmin Faras and Prof. Vaishali Deshpande, along with the teaching and non-teaching staff, made special efforts to make the Sports Festival 2024 a success.
