Investigation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has revealed that Shiv Sena spokesperson and MP Sanjay Raut, who is under arrest in the Patra Chaal case, was using two cars owned by a builder in the eastern suburbs of Mumbai. Sanjay Raut and his family were using these two luxury cars owned by the directors of Shraddha Developers. Shraddha Developers has several projects in the constituency of Sanjay Raut’s brother Sunil Raut. India Today has reported in this regard.
On Wednesday, ED raided several places including Mumbai. This included real estate developers in the eastern suburbs. According to the sources, this action was taken in the case of Patra Chaal. The raids were conducted after information was received that Sanjay Raut and his family were using cars owned by executives from Shraddha Developers.
ED team scrutinized documents and computers at Shraddha Developers office in Mulund. Many projects of Shraddha Developers are underway in Bhandup, Mulund, Vikhroli which fall under Sunil Raut’s constituency. After raids were conducted at the residence on July 31, the ED got information that Sanjay Raut and his family were using two luxury cars owned by executives from Shraddha Developers. Meanwhile, according to sources, the ED also raided Avni Infrastructure on Wednesday. The company was started by Sanjay Raut’s wife Varsha Raut and Patra Chaal case prime accused Praveen Raut’s wife Madhuri.
