Pune :The Social Security Department of the Crime Branch raided a spa in Aundh, called Aura Thai Spa which ran a prostitution business in the area. The police arrested six girls, including four foreigners. The police also arrested the manager of the Aura Thai Spa.
The accused is identified as Sagar Shyam Pawar (32), a resident of Gawli Wada, Lonavla. A FIR has been registered against Manish Ishwar Mutha, a resident of Kondhwa, Rahul Jigjini and three others at the Chhaturshrungi Police Station.
The Social Security Department of the Crime Branch received a tip-off that a prostitution business was being run from an ‘Aura Thai Spa’ in Aundh. After sending in a decoy customer, the police were able to confirm the information. Six girls and the manager of the Aura Thai Spa were taken into custody. Among the six women who were arrested, four of them are Thai nationals.
Senior Inspector of Police Rajesh Puranik, Sub-Inspector Supriya Pandharkar, Rajshree Mohite, Ashwini Kekan, Sneha Dhuri, Pramod Mohite and others carried out this operation.
