The Ashadi Yatra of Koronantar is being witnessed in Warakaris with enthusiasm. Therefore, considering the possible crowds, the administration has made changes in the planning.

This year’s Ashadi Wari is likely to be filled in large numbers and immediate action should be taken to provide necessary facilities to the Warkari and devotees coming for this ceremony on the palanquin route, on the palanquin lake, said Milind Shambharkar, District Collector, Solapur. Palkhi ceremony will arrive in Solapur on 4th and 5th July. Against this background, both the palanquin routes and various palanquin bases have been inspected by the District Collector himself.
