PCMC water for Pilgrimage Alandi…!

Pimpri : Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has decided to supply two lakh liters of water daily to pilgrim center of Alandi by Municipal Corporation, Commissioner  Shravan Hardikar.
Since last few days, Alandi has been supplied with contaminated water. So there is a wave of anger among the general public. However, supply of drinking water to Alandi through Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. MLA Mahesh Landge had followed the follow up. Meanwhile, the meeting of municipal commissioner Shravan Hardykar and MLA Lodghe also had a meeting.
There is a big problem of drinking water right now in Alandi and surroundings. Because of the Indrayani river pollution, Alandi has suffered a lot of misery. Actually, due to the industrial estate of Pimpri-Chinchwad and the untimely municipal administration, Indrayani pollution increased. The same water goes into the Alandi bandwad. After processing this water, the municipality is providing supply to Alandi. However, the question of civil health has arisen because the water processing project is faulty. The MLA demanded that the Pimpri-Chinchwad municipal administration should resolve the matter, demand was made by the MLA Mahesh Landge. He has given a positive response to Municipal Commissioner Shravan Hardikar.
Water supply to Pimpri-Chinchwadkar is done through Pawana dam. Water will be provided for drinking water in addition to the required water for Municipal Corporation.
MLA Mahesh Landge said that the PMC will provide 5 MLD of water to the Pune Municipal Corporation. However, considering the future extension of Alandi, follow the instructions of the Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran for getting 15 MLD water from the pumping station in Kurli. For this fund will be provided through pilgrim development plan. A meeting with Guardian Minister Girish Bapat will be held in this regard.
