MP Shrirang Barne’s ‘ultimatum’ to the municipal administration काढ remove the sculpture otherwise I will remove it!

Pimpri: Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation is installing Flower of Paradise sculpture at Dange Chowk in Thergaon. Therefore, the name of Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on the bridge is being covered. Municipal administration should remove this sculpture in next two days. Otherwise, I will remove the sculpture myself, Shiv Sena MP Shrirang Barne has warned.

A statement has been given to Municipal Commissioner Rajesh Patil in this regard. In it, MP Barne has said that while representing Thergaon in the Municipal Corporation, a bridge was built at Dange Chowk following me. This bridge was named after Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the adored deity of Maharashtra. There is a big statue of Maharaj in Dange Chowk. Looking at Maharaj, citizens get different energy.

Municipal administration is doing some business under the name of smart city. Anything is being installed anywhere. Flower of Paradise Shilpa is being installed at Dange Chowk. Therefore, the name of Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on the bridge is being covered. Maharaj’s name, the area is being defaced. The sculpture should be removed in the next couple of days. MP Barne has warned that otherwise I will remove the sculpture myself.
