Intelligence Agencies say, Pak based Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists may attack Ayodhya

UP Police on Wednesday deployed security across Ayodhya city, after intelligence agencies suspected terror strikes in the temple city by Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists.

The security have been informed by the intelligence agencies, that the Pakistan based JeM chief Masood Azhar has made a call to execute such strikes across Ayodhya. According to news agency IANS, Azhar, through a social media platform called Telegram has appealed to operatives to mobilise and carry out “stellar and spectacular” attacks on the Indian soil. 

According to agencies, the seven Pakistan-based terrorists have entered India through India-Nepal border last month. They are hiding in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur and Ayodhya cities and have still not been traced. Five of among them terrorists have been identified as Abu Hamza, Mohammad Yakub, Nisar Ahmad, Mohammad Shahbaz, and Mohammad Qaumi Chaudhary.
