Pimpri: A shocking incident has come to light where a husband killed his wife by hitting her on the head with a Cuddapah floor due to suspicion of character. The incident took place on Monday (01) night in Kalakhadak area of Wakad. In this case, the accused Ramesh Hanumant Pujari (age 35, resident of Ramsuper Market, Kalakhadak, Wakad) has been arrested by the police.
According to the police, the accused Ramesh Pujari and his wife Lalita Ramesh Pujari (aged 30 years) lived in Kalakhadak area of Wakad. Husband Ramesh and his wife Lalitha often had arguments. Ramesh used to quarrel frequently and even beat his wife due to suspicion of character. They had a fight again on Monday night. Ramesh hit his wife on the head with a Kaddappa floor and killed her in a fit of rage. After that, Ramesh fled from there as soon as he realized that he had been killed.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot. Soon after that, the accused Ramesh Pujari was arrested by the police. Further investigation is being done by Wakad police.
