Angered by the abduction of a minor girl, the girl’s father kidnapped the girl’s thirty-two-year-old aunt and thirteen-year-old maternal aunt.

Out of anger over the abduction of a minor girl, the girl’s father along with eight to ten of his colleagues kidnapped the aunt of the abductor and her thirteen-year-old daughter in Pune. The girl’s mother has also alleged that a friend of the girl’s father tried to sexually assault the girl’s 13-year-old maternal aunt who abducted the girl after the abduction. The above shocking incident happened five months ago in Bopodi area of Pune. In this case, a 32-year-old woman from Bopodi area has filed a complaint in Khadki police station. The Khadki police have registered a case against ten people including the girl’s father, four women and their unknown four to five relatives.
According to Khadki police, Dutta (name changed) lives in Bopodi area with his sixteen-year-old daughter. Meanwhile, their relative Kalpana (name changed) lives near Dutta’s house. Dutta’s sixteen-year-old daughter left home with Kalpana’s sister’s son in the first week of last March.
After the girl ran away, a big argument broke out between the families of both Dutta and Kalpana. Due to this anger, Dutta and the women of his house tried to beat Kalpana and her thirteen year old daughter by entering the house. Realizing that the dispute was escalating, Dutta along with some of his friends kidnapped Kalpana and her thirteen-year-old daughter. And both of them were taken to Aklun via Indapur in a four-wheeled vehicle and kept locked up at that place.
While Kalpana and her thirteen-year-old daughter were kept in Akluj, one of Dutta’s friends in Aklun tried to sexually assault Kalpana’s thirteen-year-old daughter. Dutta and his associates also tried to burn Kalpana and her daughter by pouring petrol on them. But in the meantime, after receiving a call from Pune, Dutta and his colleagues brought Kalpana and her daughter to the Khadki area.
After this incident, Kalpana and her relatives approached the court to get justice. Khadki police have registered a case as per the order given by the court. Khadki Police is investigating the matter thoroughly, but no one has been arrested yet.
