Pimpri: Deputy Chief Minister of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and Guardian Minister of Pune District are running the power in the Municipal Corporation. Who is stopping you from providing facilities to ordinary Pimpri-Chinchwadkars? This question has been raised by Aam Aadmi Party.

Aam Aadmi Party’s ‘Swarajya Melava’ was held at Patidar Bhavan in Nigdi. AAP’s Maharashtra State Election Chief Mahadev Naik, State President Ranga Rachure, State Organizer and Pune City Working President Vijay Kumbhar, State Secretary Dhananjay Shinde, Youth President Ajinkya Shinde, AAP Transport Wing Maharashtra State President Shrikant Acharya, Pune District President Mukund Kirdat, Young Vice President Sandeep Sonawane, Pimpri-Chinchwad Executive President Chetan Bendre, AAP Pimpri-Chinchwad Chief Anup Sharma were present.

The keynote speaker of the program, Ranga Rachure, fired cannons at the established parties, pointing out the inefficiency of the government at the local as well as state level. He accused the government of trying to cover up its inefficiency by creating a religious rift by sidestepping key issues and disrupting the social environment. The growth of the party at the state and country level is remarkable by giving information about the work being done by AAP. At the local level too, the party appealed to the activists to take up the issues of the people and reach out to them.

The tradition of percentage politics belongs to the NCP.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, who visited the city two days ago, criticized the politics of percentage. However, the NCP continued the tradition of percentage politics and the BJP continued the same tradition. Therefore, there are no deadlines for commission and percentage of Smart City projects and many projects are pending. Its costs are increased. Chetan Bendre has alleged that both the BJP and the NCP are working for a percentage.

‘Citizens’ Charter’ to be put before the people

We will present to the public a ‘Citizen’s Charter’ to meet the basic pending demands like universal access to free health care, 24 hours clean water supply at full pressure, perfect safe roads, government housing scheme and right to shelter. The citizens of the city should make the Aam Aadmi Party win the coming elections, appealed Executive President Chetan Bendre at the Swarajya Nirdhar Mela in Nigdi.
