Pune : The incident of looting 8 tolas of gold by robbing a jeweler’s shop at Shivapur (T. Haveli) on the Pune-Satara highway has come to light on Wednesday (24th) at around eight o’clock in the night. While looting the gold, the robbers shot in the air and escaped on a two-wheeler. All this has been captured in CCTV.
In this case Dhuksingh Wagsingh Rajput (age 52, Res. Shivapur Navkar Park A Wing Flat No. 303 Haveli Dist. Pune. Native Res. Madia Dist./ Dist. Sirohi State Rajasthan) has filed a complaint in Rajgad Police Station. Accordingly, a case has been registered against four robbers.
According to the information received, four unknown youths came to the Shree Ganesh Jewelers shop at Shivapur Wada in Khed Shivapur village on the Pune-Satara highway. Coming into the shop, one of them gave me a sigh of relief in hindi. He held his pistol at me.
While his other companion broke the glass of the shop counter with a knife in his hand and destroyed it. At that time, the third accomplice among them forcibly stole the gold jewelery weighing 8 tolas which was kept on a wooden shelf behind the counter. And as they went, they fired in the air and on two two-wheelers they spread towards Pune.
On getting information about this incident, Police Inspector Sachin Patil of Rajgad Police Station and Assistant Police Inspector Nitin Khamgal immediately reached the spot. After that, Patil shifted the sources and dispatched teams to search for the robbers. A dog team has also been called in to track down the robbers. The robbers will be caught soon. Patil has said this. However, further investigation is being conducted by Assistant Police Inspector Navsare under the guidance of Police Inspector Sachin Patil.
