According to the information of Lonavala city police, Mohammad Khan and his relatives came to Crescent Villa bungalow in Tungarli area of ​​Lonavala on Thursday afternoon. Around 8:30 PM, Khan and his sisters’ children were enjoying swimming in the bungalow’s swimming pool. At that time, Harun playfully grabbed an electric pole outside the water of the swimming pool.

At this time he was struck by lightning and screamed loudly, shaking. At this time his relatives dragged him aside, but he was unconscious. Harun was admitted to Sanjeevani Hospital in Lonavala for immediate treatment by his relatives. But doctors declared him dead before treatment. In this case, a report has been filed at the Lonavla city police station. The Lonavala City Police is investigating the incident further.

This is the second incident in just 15 days in the swimming pool of a bungalow in Tungarli area of ​​Lonavala. Fifteen days ago, on July 13, a two-year-old child drowned in the same area. After that, this second incident has happened. Due to this, the issue of safety of official and unofficial swimming pools in private bungalows in Lonavala city has come to the fore once again. The Lonavla City Police and the Lonavla Municipal Council should investigate the official and unauthorized swimming pools and related matters causing such incidents and destroy the respective unauthorized swimming pools and take legal action against the culprits. The citizens of Lonavlekar are making such a demand.
