18 lakh jewelery theft in Karnataka See exactly what happened?

Dhule : A gang of hardened criminals was trying to smuggle 18 lakh gold jewelery from a bus going from Mumbai to Mangalore and pass through Dhule Marg in Madhya Pradesh. But this attempt was thwarted by the Karnataka police with the help of Dhule police. Karnataka Police and Dhule Police have arrested the gang in a filmy style by setting a trap at Songir Toll Naka within the limits of Songir Police Station. Superintendent of Police Praveen Kumar Patil informed about this crime while holding a press conference today. A complaint was lodged with the Baindur police station in Karnataka on June 16 alleging that gold jewelery worth Rs 18 lakh was looted from a private bus traveling from Mumbai to Mangalore. Investigating the incident, Karnataka police reached Dhule.

Dhule local crime branch police inspector Hemant Patil had received confidential information regarding this crime. He came to know that the gang involved in gold theft case from Karnataka was going to Madhya Pradesh via Dhule in a Maruti car MP 09 W 9284. A team of Karnataka Police is also investigating him. After getting information about all these incidents, teams of Dhule Police, Songir Police and Karnataka Police set a trap at Songir Toll Naka.

At around 12 o’clock on Sunday night, the accused’s car approached the toll plaza and tried to stop them. But the thieves tried to escape. At this time, Karnataka Police and Dhule Police with the help of Songir Police, in a filmy style, grabbed the vehicle of the hardened criminals and caught the thieves. Two police personnel from Karnataka were injured in the scuffle. However, with the help of Karnataka Police and Dhule Police, the police have finally succeeded in nabbing the hardened criminals. After this, the hardened criminals were interrogated at the Dhule LCB office. He confessed to stealing in Karnataka. Police have seized 18 lakh gold from his car. Dhule police have handed over four accused in the case to Karnataka police for further action, informed Superintendent of Police Praveen Kumar Patil.
