बिहारमध्ये चमकी तापाचा कहर अद्यापही सुरुच असून यामुळे मृत बालकांची संख्या ११२ वर पोहोचली असून ३०० जण अद्यापही या गंभीर तापाच्या धोक्यातून बाहेर आलेले नाहीत. तसेच इतर रुग्णालयांमध्ये उपचारांविना मृत्यू झालेल्या मुलांची आकडेवारीही अद्याप समोर आलेली नाही. या एकूण मृत बालकांमध्ये ८५ टक्के प्रमाण हे मुलींचे असल्याने इथली परिस्थिती खूपच चिंताजनक बनली आहे.

Bihar: People who have come with their children at Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH) in Muzaffarpur say that their children are suffering from fever and allege that they’re not being admitted at the hospital. They also allege that no ORS was ever given to them.

Parents at SKMCH: No one has told us anything about or given us ORS. We don’t know the symptoms of AES. Our children are burning with fever since 4-5 days. Doctor asked us to get medicines for them & said they’ll admit them if fever doesn’t go down after that. We don’t have money
मुझफ्फरनगरमधील श्री कृष्ण मेडिकल कॉलेज आणि रुग्णालयात लोक तापाने फणफणलेल्या मुलांना घेऊन येतच आहेत. गेल्या चार पाच दिवसांपासून त्यांच्या मुलांना ताप येत असून अद्याप त्यांना रुग्णालयात उपचारांसाठी दाखल करुन घेण्यात आलेले नाही. तसेच काही ठिकाणी ओआरएसचा पुरवठा योग्य प्रकारे होत नसल्याचा आरोपही या लोकांनी केला आहे.
